I went to Chester High School in the late sixties and the Morning run to ClearCleek Jct passed our spanish class window every day at approx. 8:30 AM. Since most of our dads worked at Collins, our Spanish instructor let several of us ride the 166 with Engr Fleming and write up a report for the class.

I haven't been back to Chester since the early eighties, but without the Almanor RR, Chester is like a barren woman.

I hope the the old R-O-W becomes a rails to trails project...
