Interesting, but probably not the report he was looking for. The ICC report was about two short trains powered by SP Baldwin AS616's heading railroad east out of Albany toward Corvallis on the Toledo Line. A 8 car empty log train stopped at the end of the Willamette River Trestle and a 23 car local freight came along 5 minutes later and rear ended the first train. The collision shoved a log car clean through the caboose killing the swing brakeman and injuring the conductor and flagman.
