Silver Solarium on the McCloud

I doubt if this scene will ever be repeated. In September of 2008 a special train powered by Amtrak ventured over the McCloud Railroad from Mt Shasta to McCloud. I went up to MP4 at the crack of dawn to catch it heading back to Mt Shasta. The lenticular clouds were wrapped around the top of Mt Shasta as I stood there all alone waiting for it. Of all the years I have photographed the McCloud this was one of my fondest memories.
