He's right, guys. If those punks had tried to force their way into the cab, it would've been a different story. They didn't, though, and both the engineer and conductor placed themselves in danger without good reason. The smart thing to do would've been to call the DS and let him/her know what the situation was and get the cops over there, then (if either one had a cell phone) call the police directly and have them clear the stupid brats out of there. Sure, the train would've been delayed and the passengers would've been PO'd, but that's preferable to being beaten, shot, or stabbed (or all three at once) and possibly even killed. As the saying goes, "Discretion is the better part of valor".
