In April 2005, I did some interior photography of Norden. At that time, the lunchcounter was intact, but considerably dilapidated complete with snowmelt dripping in all over the place. Digging around, I found some old paperwork items of interest. I revisited in December of 2008 and interior demolishing had begun of the lunch counter area to the extent that the stools were piled up, counter removed from its footing and a lot of drywall damage had occured. One of the discarded stools was recycled as a convenient seat for a shop telephone.
