I don't know if this will help or not,so here it goes. It was told to me by the ticket agent at Willits that there was a better draw of ticket sales from the Highway 1 crowd than travelers going thru willits.I explained to her that was BS , and the best part of the ride was from Wilits to F.B. She had also told me the line east from North spur was closed down from defered maintance. That was probally the true reason. By the way, that conversation last summer.
