From what I've been able to determine, storage cars are being moved to locations offering cheaper storage, and in some cases the cars are moving to scrap. Not certain, but TTX 50-foot 70-ton log flats on CSP 2nd sub might be moving to scrap---but do not know, friend at TTX thought that might be the case as the cars are 70-tonners and TTX looking towards 100-ton minimum at some point. The cars on the 2nd sub are assigned to the UP and I know UP is really looking hard at car storage costs, perhaps someone with access to a RR computer could trace a couple of them and find out for certain.
