The caption of the photo in the article is incorrect. While the location is indeed CP Topanga, the train shown is eastbound. The train involved in the collision (which happened around the curve in the distance) was westbound. But it illustrates the general layout of track and signals at the Control Point in question. Some eye witnesses have stated that the governing signal on the right displayed a green aspect.
