Well, there's good news and bad news. The only place that was really damaged by the recent storms appears to be the south end of the Schellville Yard. Flood waters from the Sonoma Creek filled the dairy pasture on the west side of the yard on Tuesday. Water eventually rose over the roadbed, flowing from west to east over the south end of the yard. It did not however crest the rail of the mainline, causing floating debris to gather against the mainline rails. This also caused the water to undercut the ballast and roadbed in a few spots. The damage is relatively minor, mostly just ballast that washed away leaving a few ties suspended 6 to 24 inches in the air in a few stretches - almost exclusively on the mainline. The two yard tracks are still on stable ground. There are only a few points of drainage under the roadbed along the Schellville Yard.
The rebuilt causeway between Schellville and Wingo held up just fine. Sonoma Creek did not flood into this basin as there are higher levies south of Schellville - although the water was close to the bottom of the Wingo Bridge.
The rest of the line seems to be intact. The low fill between the Fairville Curves and Sears point was surrounded by water, but didn't seem to be affected. The Petaluma River and Novato Creek never really flooded either.
