I assumed the question was about a railroad pull trailer which is what I was talking about. Yes, getting it started is a job, but when using a MT-19 to pull it the benefit of 4 wheel brakes versus 2 wheel drive is a bit noticeable. Blind crossings are a challenge especially when hauling a load of firewood down hill.
Now for a highway trailer for hauling a speeder. Mine was custom built by Terry Borden who is an expert. It has dual 3500 pound axles, electric brakes, can carry two speeders, standard or narrow gauge, it also has side boards for cargo and can haul my Kubota tractor. The GVW is 7000 pounds.
