All I can tell ya is that he was commonly known to San Joaquin and Western crews as "Holiday Harry." Maybe it's a nickname that didn't transfer over to fellow company officers. For example, I'd never heard of MDO being called "Mad Dog" until he started posting his life story over on TO's. Everyone I know of who worked for him in California or Texas called him various things that were a lot more colorful than "Mad Dog."

Yup. Another unique individual. Got a story I could tell about the time he sent home a brakeman for not wearing underware. Anyway, do you know if he's still with us?
