Re: Green Bay to Fond du Lac

The rail lines along the west side Lake Winnebago between Fond du Lac and Green Bay are ex C&NW and ex Soo, today some gone, some pieced together to form CN's ex WC main line. Milwaukee Road line was east west through south Fond du Lac connecting to a north south line east of Lake Winnebago through towns of Chilton-Kiel-Plymouth-Elkhart Lake. Portions of this line are operated by Wisconsin Southern who is reopening the long dormant line's west end between Plymouth and Sheboygan toward service to from Milwaukee. Milwaukee Road's line between Fond du Lac and Green Bay could best be described 'meandering'.
