Just remember the major hue and cry and rending of garments when the UP scattered new ties along the ROW for replacement and everyone decided they were being exposed to carcinogens----no one bothered to recall the ancient wharves and pilings and moorings around the bay saturated with the same carcinogen, creosote. :-)
