Before the internet was widely available, the Flimsies Hotline was the first way you could get timely info that allowed you to go out and get a photo. Some of my best photos from that period were based on Hotline info. I probably still have a box of Flimsies somewhere.

Now with the internet, we have much more timely info, ay the same time there is much less going on to be aware of!
