Amtrak #110 (Ex-SP#6446) at Oakland May 1975

It was May of 1975. Gerald Ford was President and the month before Saigon had fallen to North Viet Nam and the Viet Cong. That month found Amtrak FP7 #110, originally SP #6446, leaving SP's 16th St. Station in Oakland with the days San Joaquin and heading to Bakersfield. Part of the depot stands as well as the tower, but everything else is gone.
