A little confused by the BN donation to the state, BN sold the lines to Watco, and yes the material was on hand at the time. According to all of my sources, and personal observation, no further material has been brought in by Watco other than ties. Some of the material has shown up in Lewiston, some was sold for scrap when the metals prices were high. Since much of the material that is being discussed currently comes from trackage lifted post state purchase, I would have to believe that it is supposed to belong to the state.
