Willow Glen was the crossing of the Coast main. West San Jose was where the WP crossed the SP Permanente Branch. (Adjacent to this spot, a small remnant of the WP now crosses the VTA light rail at grade.) The WP also had a crossing of the SP Luther Spur, a remnant of the old SP main before the 1930s line change. Norman Holmes' book "Prune Country Railroading" has a lot of info on the subject.
