Somewhere on the geographic East end of the NP Tacoma freight yard, a track did, may still, head off thru assorted warehouses, aimed towards downtown Tacoma. The track rose, on fill, to the drawbridge over the waterway, connecting to the trestle in the photo.

Recommend searching for vestiges of the line I mention above. Some of the grade up to the drawbridge may exist. High probability that the concrete abutments of the drawbridge still exist.

I should remember that it is now over sixty years since I rode the line.
