Re: NP Bridge over the Ship Canal and a bit more

Thanks. Yes, I'm familiar with the section of track near the houseboats that you mention. It's like on a little trestle along side, and below, Westlake Ave. That's the track near the Fremont Bridge that I referred to my original post. Not too long ago the tracks from that line were taken up along Westlake Ave, like near the Northwest Outdoors Center on Lake Union. I believe there are still some rails immedded in the pavement near Terry Ave., although there has been some much change and construction on that area recently, not sure what is left.

When did they remove the bascule bridge, and when did they abandon the Terry Ave. spur? Thanks.

On a similar note, I see that they fenced off an area on the Woodinville Wye for overnight storage of a switcher. I think someone said that the Ballard Terminal is taking over the Snohomish-Woodinville line. What about Woodinville-Bellevue? As of yesterday, the 124st crossing at Totem Lake still had dirt in the flangeway indication no movement over that line. I believe the Redmond branch is dead permanently. Correct?
