H.Eric Borgwardt-- BAERA "Review" Editor

Recently received the news that H.Eric (Rick) Borgwardt passed away on Saturday, February 13th. Rick was the longtime Editor of the BAERA/ Western Railway Museum bulletin known as "The Review" ... He had taken that position many, many years ago and was only the second person in the BAERA organization to hold that position, after Editor Emeritus "Addison H. Laflin" passed away.
Rick's older brother, the late Norman Borgwardt, was the BAERA/WRM General Manager for many years. He had a great working relationship with "Harold Mulford", former Superintendent of the Sacramento Northern.
During the years of 1957--1960, it was Norm who found the property at Rio Vista Junction for today's museum operation..
Further information regarding Rick's passing will more than likely be forthcoming from the Western Railway Museum staff.
