Historically, their days of operation have been M-F, but they generally do not run to the BNSF interchange at Holbrook on Wednesdays. Start time at Snowflake is around 9am. The shops are located near the paper mill, which is actually about 10 miles west of Snowflake proper. If you check in at the office, you may be granted permission to photograph the staged up power from the office parking lot, but nothing more.

They are typically at Holbrook in the early afternoon, and return to Snowflake mid to late afteroon from what I've seen. The line is largely inaccessible in its middle portion, so most shots are between Holbrook and Milepost 5, and then again just east of the mill. The portions to the east of the mill provide some nice high desert landscape.
