Finally someone gets it. (you win Shannon) The guy overseeing all the repairs has no railroad experience or backround. How can you fix something if you don't know its broken? They have had at least six years to study the condiction of the tracks and structures but they need payed consultants to interpet what thay are seeing. They are just learning they need more ties? How could you miss that after 10 years of not running? There is no motivation for completing the job. Quite the opposite, the longer it takes the more money made "consulting" The NCRA board is continually told contracts are finished and everything looks good except (fill in the small blank) Everything reported is upbeat(tell em what they want to hear) The board although honest can't seem to get around to asking" who is in charge and why are we not running trains". They value loyalty to the board over ones ability to get the job done. Trains will not be running by July .
