This past Sunday I headed up to Van Nuys to try and catch the detouring freight, and to my pleasant surprise found this St. Louis & Southwestern GP40M-2, with its Cotton Belt number intact, running the Day Bud switching Gemco Yard. I believe, from what I can find on the internet, that this is the last unpatched Cotton Belt unit in existance (but would be really happy if someone can point out that I am wrong).
First image is of the train being watched by a fellow ferroequinologist who brought his own chair to the festivities. (If this person is some one on the list, I didn't even realize that I'd photographed you until I was editing my shots... but then really liked the way it turned out).

Second image is a close-up roster shot of the SSW GP40M-2. Long may she live in this paint.

Third image is of her making her final shove, sorting a lone autorack, prior to getting put away for the day.

Thanks for looking and corrections are welcome.
