Pooches in South San Francisco

From July 1978 to April 1979 the Southern Pacific leased Amtrak P30CH engines 700 to 708, 711, 712, 714, 716, 720 and 724 for use on the Southern Pacific commute trains between San Francisco and San Jose. These photos were apparently made in the summer of 1978 (date not recorded) in South San Francisco.

Even though I was there, and took the photos, I had forgotten I had these until a week or so ago. I have been going through my negatives and found these on a long forgotten roll of Tri-X.

As always, comments, suggestions, corrections and more information is appreciated.
