Bruce is correct--the Geiger Spur "relocation" affects the part of the current spur west of Craig Road. East of there, it will remain as is. The Transload (official term) will be built on an as-yet-undecided parcel along McFarlane Road.
The BNSF likes to call them "Logistics Centers". They are the glorified modern day equivalent of the old "team track" facilities. It's a track or tracks that can be used by multiple customers who want rail service but have no spur track out back. Customers who could potentially use the facility would be Rabanco due to the proximity of the Waste to Energy plant (containers of ash are now trucked accross town to Yardley), Dealers Auto Auction (which currently brings their used cars in via BNSF's ramp in the "south 40" and then drives them to Airway Heights), and several frequent current users of BNSF's current Yardley team track who prefer a west-side facility. Others interviewed indicated that they would switch to rail shipping if a facility was available on that end of town. At a transload, you basically either supply or bring along what you need to load or unload whatever car type you have and you can use it.
