In answer to one of the original questions, if this has a bay window, this would be a standard issue MoPac caboose of the late caboose era. As bunks and beds were no longer needed the size of the crew space was shrunk to a small box, it reduced upkeep costs and weight. I'm told they rode kinda rough though.
