Last I heard ....

Siskiyou - A local group applied for a Connect Oregon grant to buy it. looks like it was probably denied. Unless someone steps forward with big $$$ or there is a miraculous increase in traffic demand, there is little chance it will reopen.

Coos Bay - Did not get their TIGER grant, waiting on Connect Oregon awards in August. Tunnels being worked on and should be repaired by April? Track needs general rehabilitation, and swing bridges need some work. No RFP yet for an operator. Noti traffic being transloaded.
