Jane Crane of Potlatch said both sales [the Post Falls mill & the railroad] had to do more with Potlatch selling its non-core businesses than a reaction to the economy. ..."Potlatch is a REIT (real estate investment trust), so neither of these were our core expertise. This (railroad sale) will allow us to focus on our plywood and lumber mill in St. Maries."

By extension, the mill in St Maries is not a core business of a REIT either, so the mill is is no doubt being marketed, as well.
