Tacoma Windstorm blocks Tacoma Rail/UP

Tacoma had high winds on Monday.

The tracks that go from Tacoma Rail to junction with Union Pacific were blocked by a tree that had fallen and blocked both tracks. This was just to East (South) of the Hwy 99/Pacific Hwy So bridge that goes over the Puyallup River. There were some cars with double stack containers and the tree had hit one of them. The area is double track and on a curve.

I saw this about 5 PM on Monday.
