I never once mentioned anything about having to disclose anything, union or company man, I could really care less. I'm not doing my job for the benefit of either of the two.
Close my eyes and visualize safety first? Did you know it is possible to get over the road in a safe manner without being a nervous nelly and go in to meditation? Though there will always be those that go a little overboard in their routine, those are generally the folks that have a higher percentage of making a mistake because they are so nervous they tend to lapse and overlook minor details that lead to major problems.
As for the cameras, if and when they come to the cab of the locomotive of the carrier I work for, dozing off will be more common as much of the conversation amongst crew members will be gone.
