I'll second the sentiments regarding Ken Meeker & Joe Strapac; Vic Neves as well. Vic & I had a long conversation @ Portola in July, 1994, that let to the " Shorts " segment @ Winterail. He was quite interested in my thoughts & ideas; didn't just blow me off.
Dave Norris, " Timetable Dave " from Fullerton, was another who befriended me @ my 1st Winterail in 1985. Thanks, Dave. Will Walters, current & former President of PRS, & all the Train Punks; good friends & foamers for years. Any trip with them is going to be fun. Up here in the Great Gray North, Warren Wing & Jim Fredrickson have always found the time to answer my ( surely simple ) questions. Any conversation with either is cherished.
