Bankers Leasing Corp. (BLCX) was once owned by SP. They also leased/sold new freight cars of most kinds to the Katy, some were SP designs and/or had SP class designations, but all had Katy reporting marks.

SP also created Evergreen Freight Car, which was a parnership with shippers of a few claaes of lumber box cars, with SP class designations but with Evergreen reporting marks, up in Eugene. When that ended, SP got those cars and repainted and renumbered them, including reporting marks, into the SP system.
