The process itself is known as either "Aluminothermic" or "Thermite" welding, in both cases the name refers to the iron and aluminum reaction that generates the heat to melt the steel.
Railtech Boutet is one of the manufacturers of those welding components, and as was mentioned, was an early pioneer in the process. Other common suppliers are Orgothermit and Railwel. The process used by each is essentially the same, though of course each manufacturer adds a bit of their own "secret sauce" to the mixture.
