Robert... actualy re-reading my first post, I think I made things sound far more "dangerous" than I should have... while all of the reasons why those areas are not the best railfanning locations for hanging out are absolutely accurate (homeless and stray junkyard dogs)... I didn't feel like I was in personal danger at any point in time. Railfanning is not worth that. charles
