I don't know the answer... I feel like both BNSF and UP have been more aggressive about getting rid of it on the locomotives in the last year or so... although it is still all over the place (have to imagine they turn around a clean it up on one unit and there it is on another unit). Seems to me that the 7700s have been getting creamed lately. And of course the UPY Gensets are getting it really bad too.
