SERA #48

Heard SERA #48’s horn around Seabright this afternoon when I was heading to Capitola and saw the engine and a cement hopper cross the intersection when the crossing gate came down at Depot Hill. Saw them again on 41st and noticed they did not park at ProBuild, but headed towards Santa Cruz. I had a few errands to run, but returned home to fetch my camera and headed back out to find SERA #48. I headed down to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and saw the Roaring Camp Beach Train parked in front of the Boardwalk. Where could SERA #48 be? Then I looked left and saw it was idling next to the Giant Dipper. They must have parked the cement hopper somewhere between ProBuild and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
