Wow, that was fully 4 years before I went to work for Std. Oil. Hard to imagine something like that ever happening today! All I remember for power on the Belt working in the Refinery for the Santa Fe was CF-7's. SP used 1200 series Alcos and even an RS-32 once along with the Cruds. There was also an SD-45 out at the Rod & Gun Club (8830?) undergoing lube oil tests by Chevron Research back in late 1970. They built wooden decking built right up to the engine walkways for better access.
