After three trips out of CdA Junction yesterday, the special went north and did a few trips out of Sandpoint. It finally came back south just after sundown. We rode the 11am trip, which wound up being very late due to the late return of the 10am trip, speed being hampered by a joint warrant at the junction with the Trentwood Local, which cleared onto the south leg of the wye, and then both having to wait for a southbound manifest. One dome was off limits due to no a.c., and the one we rode in bounced and galloped like a rodeo bronco.
