I rarely get north of Omak, but the line between Omak and Wenatchee (Olds Station, actually. Trackage rights between there and the yard) has seen a great deal of work and appears to be in good shape. The 25 mph speed limit seems resonable. There's very little work between Omak and Wenatchee, maybe a little in Entiat, and they can make the 200 mile turn in 1 shift.
