Nice pose...I have always liked that open hillside in the background, kinda out of character for that end of the railroad. That engine sure had the power, but had a real difficult time getting it all to the rail. When the CWR shop crew removed the side tanks for asthetics, they lost a considerable amount of adhesion and she was pretty slippery after that. I got to run her for a few miles on the Eastbound trip that same year as Drew's photo and you really had to watch her or she'd be dancing on the rails.
