GN Day In Skykomish, August 14, 2010
We are finalizing the program arrangements for GN Day in Skykomish, so wanted to get them out for people to see. The joint GNRHS - Sky Historical Society event will be at the Masonic Hall in Sky, due to the museum building being moved for oil clean-up. The program will start at 9:30 am on August 14th and include informational items on the clean-up, current historical society activities and updates on GNRHS activity. The main topic of the presentations will be the Wellington Avalanche, because this is the 100th year anniversary. Lunch will be available from the Sky Deli, we will place orders in the morning and they will deliver at noon. The menu will be deli sandwiches, drinks, chips, and cookies all for less than $10.

After lunch we will carpool up to Wellington for a site tour. The tour will consist of a site walk with narration of events, photos of Wellington/Tye to help put locations in context and blueprints available for viewing.
