Yeah, kinda funny how the government can have "private property." I get military installations and such being off limits, but I've never understood signs that read "State Property, no trespassing." Especially when its an empty field. The worst are signs in city parks that read "No Loitering" and state a penal code you can be punished by for violating this. Has anyone ever gotten such a ticket?
I've tried the whole "I'm on a platform/public property" argument and its never made any difference. You are deffinatly OK on the streets and probably OK on platforms. If they have posted signs on the platforms that will give you a clue as to the railroad's seriousness.
