Often after getting off work in early am I would chase the job out to Santa Monica(Fisher Lumber I believe) watch them switch the Bakery at Culver City and come back into the J Yard.There were other industries that I do not remember that were served on the Branch .Riding the Starlight up the Coast last week I was amazed at how few cars were on spot at industries from LAUPT to Oakland.The manifest business or loose car business is disappearing into extinction.William W.
