I last chased the Santa Monica Branch in 1986 and 1987,although I did some in the 70's which included the Alla Branch.I did a lot of this after the night shift at ATSF which was about the only good thing I liked about working nights.I was already up and in position for railfanning. Anyway ,our manifest business literally went away during my career.William W. Webb
