Those of us involved in the project (from the consulting side) are very interested in how soon the "bad spots" in the track are going to show up with those brontosauruses running on that line. The power has not yet arrived, but I hear that it's soon. WSDOT says that the shippers are "very excited" about the new operation and they are saying that they are going to take full advantage. We can only hope that they keep up their promise and don't keep the State stringing along, holding a rail line in place only to keep their other shipping options competitive.
