Ah yes, Windust. Brought the family there once a few years ago, and spent a lot of time there back in the final years of BN running through there on the SP&S. Back then, the place for railfans to spend the night was up on the hillside at Farrington, where the ABS signals would give you plenty of warning of an approaching WB coming down out of @#$%& Canyon. Not a bad view of the UP from up there, either. Good reception of radio out of the Tri Cities, everything from that funky Mexican-Polka stuff to "easy listening" to 80s rock back when it was still the 80s.
