SI trains do all their Spokane setouts & pickups at Velox, approx 13 miles EAST of Spokane, just off of Sullivan road in the Spokane Valley. Generally this is done by the "B" train (MHKETB or METHKB) which is a mainline local. Spokane stops are only to change crews; generally between Fancher rd and Park rd just south of Felts field airport. Sometimes southbounds change crews at Mirabo rd just west of Velox. And if it fits operationally then will sometimes change crews at the BNSF sidings at Empire (on the NP side) or Overlook (on the SP&S side) just west of Spokane. The mainline trains almost never do any work at the old SI yard at Mission & Freya just south of Spokane Community College.
