This is a key part of the
Metrolink Orange County Service Expansion project.
The improvements are to be in the
Orange County segment from Fullerton to Laguna Niguel Metrolink stations
This WAS touted to result in every 30 minute Metrolink service on this
busy segment of the Metrolink Orange County Line.
The Fullerton platform construction and addition is a key part of this project

I hope this explains why the large amount on construction in
Fullerton and the rest of Orange County.
No matter if you like this project of not, this is a
truly HISTORIC time around Fullerton and Orange County with
the new replacing the old in a very big way.
