Right, and about two years ago, (at least on the Mojave Sub) the G plates were removed on intermediate signals, along with an SSI change noting that no stop is required, proceed at restricted speed.

I was just curious that the lower aspect actually had a lunar element; it made me wonder if there is a spur or house track wihin that proceeding block- maybe there for snow service? At Summit Switch on the Mojave Sub, there is an aspect with the letter M that is white when illuminated. It allowed helpers to cut off and run against the current of traffic to Tehachapi, IIRC. The latest timetable instructions no longer include this however, and the north switch has been removed. Probably due to DP use.
