Don't know that Amtrak wants the hassle of back-up moves to & from Dalies, NM., even if it means direct service to Albuquerque. The extra time consumed would negate much of the time saved by switching to the Southern Transcon. Rail Runner service does not currently operate on weekends; I envision an AmBus connection instead.
